Introduction to induction melting furnaces
Equipment features:
1. The equipment is small in size, light in weight, high in efficiency, energy-saving and power-saving;
2. The temperature around the furnace is low, the smoke and dust are less, and the working environment is good;
3. The operation process is simple and the melting operation is reliable;
4. Uniform heating temperature, less burning loss, uniform metal composition, and good quality of castings;
5. The melting temperature is fast, the furnace temperature is easy to control, and the application effect of various industries is good.
History
As a kind of smelting equipment, it has a history of decades in cast iron smelting and duplex smelting, and China has rich experience in manufacturing and applying power frequency furnaces and intermediate frequency furnaces, and has made remarkable progress in many aspects such as power supply structure, frequency conversion technology, integrated control, and circulating cooling technology. More and more manufacturers are using induction melting furnaces and heat insulation. Induction furnace smelting characteristics: 1) The induction furnace used for smelting can manufacture a single unit with a capacity of nearly 100 tons, which can meet the needs of large-scale production. However, the expansion of installed power capacity is often an insurmountable obstacle for many companies. As a result, induction furnaces are more suitable for small and medium-scale production. 2) The induction furnace can melt various grades of steel and non-ferrous metals commonly used. In terms of iron casting production alone, the adaptability of the induction furnace to the product is better than that of the cupola, and the induction furnace can melt a variety of high-alloy cast iron, such as high-chromium cast iron. 3) The induction furnace is intermittent smelting, and the molten iron equal to the capacity of the furnace is provided at intervals, which is more suitable for the production method of the phased work system. 4) Impact on the environment: the smoke and dust of the induction melting furnace are oxide fine particles; strong electromagnetic pollution; The pollution is all in the factory; Induction furnaces use electricity as energy, and the power consumption per ton of molten iron is about 160MJ (600kWh).
