Plating thickness
Fasteners plating thickness is directly related to its corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, but too thick, if the installation process will produce thread interference, it is recommended that the general thickness of the plating for 4 ~ 12um.
Hot dip galvanizing standard average thickness is 54um ( called diameter ≤ 3/8 is 43um ), the minimum thickness is 43um ( called diameter ≤ 3/8 is 37um ).
